I have one large fibroid, about the size of a grapefruit, on top of my uterus (on the outside).

Just wondering, do you think my stomach will be any flatter after the surgery?

Also, the surgeon thinks she can probably discharge me the day of the surgery. Is it reasonable to expect this will happen?

I expect your stomach will be flatter! My fibroids made me look 4 months pregnant! So yes! I don't have much experience with laps- but they are usually shorter recoveries. GOOD LUCK!!

Let us know what happens.
