Default How long does it take for the sensations to go away?

I feel stupid calling my ob/gyn up because it's probably just normal, but I'm feeling cramps in my lower back and a twinge in my left side/ovary-area & my incision is a little tender. Strange considering it's been 3 months since my abdominal myomectomy.

Did your incision site remain strange-feeling for awhile? Did carrying heavy things (I lifted a 50 lb suitcase a few times this weekend) impact you more than usual?

Thanks!

I am sorry you still have pain. I recall feeling that way too. My incision hurt or felt strange for a year or more. It doesn't hurt to call the OB- that is what you pay them for. Maybe they have some pain killers for you. I'd also take it easy and not lift heavy things.

Wow. A year? Oh, well...I just need to suck it up then. Thanks for the heads-up, Sheryl!

But it does go away!

Take care of yourself.
