Thanks! I'm home now & pretty sore, but doing well...Surgery was really long. I guess the fibroid was one they havent seen before - mushy instead of hard & so had to come out in a ton of pieces - took 5 hrs. Doc was very pleased w/ the results & was more convinced than ever that it was the best thing to get rid of it. MRI didnt do it justice i guess - REALLY big & encompassed the whole uterus. I will have to wait 3 mo to begin TTC & will have to have a c-section, if/when i have another baby, but thats ok.

One thing that has me really worried though is that it was unlike anything they ever saw before (& they specialize in this stuff) & i am really concerned it was cancerous. if so, i'll have to have a complete hysterectomy. So I am really worried. I have to wait at least 7 business days for pathology to come back, & until then i'm panicking...

Please say prayers/wish me best on that front...
