Fibroids and Intense pms symptoms

Hi all - I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone in the world of Fiboids and ttc. I conceived naturally last year and miscarried for reasons unknown. Seeing all your posts has really lifted my spirits today and I have big hopes and prayers for all of you that are ttc.

Here's what I'd like to know - has anyone experienced extreme symptoms starting on or around your date of ovulation? About 11 months later (about 6 months now) I started getting very heavy AF, lasting for 7-10 days. I had also started using OPKs and noticed that I would hold water, have breast pain, cramping, frequent urination, morning nausea and heartburn and incredibly sensitive breasts. The first few months of this I was convinced that I was pg and it's so heart-breaking to get that BFN. Thankfully, I've just been referred to an RE who has located the fibroid which is about the size of a golf ball and is going to take it out. In the meantime, I just want to know if anyone has ever had any of these crazy symptoms? I've just turned 36 and can't think that this is just my hormones going crazy. I'm also averaging a weight gain of about 4 pounds per month -- the water weight comes but never seems to go away.

Hopeful to hear from anyone out there with similar experience.

Hi and welcome to the board!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry about the golf ball but I know removing it is the best thing you could do.

Before my last fibroid was removed I had similiar symptoms too...except my periods were like a day and a half! I thought I was pregnant every month. The months I actually got pregnant (have 2 sons now) I had NO symptoms at all.

Hang in there. I bet after the removal you will be pg in 6 months. Keep us posted.
