Well, I just learned today that I have fibroids - quite a few of them, actually. Most of them appear to be on the outside of the uterus, but there is one small one that may be encroaching on my lining. I will find out more on Friday, but they may be recommending removing it. Anyone have anything they can share with me about this? Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about your fibroids. If you read some of the posts on this board you'll see a lot of women have have them removed. I've have them removed twice- Myomoctomy for the outside ones and a hysteroscopy for the inside ones. I beleive the removal of my fibroids is the only reason I finally got pg. They were inhibiting pregnancy prior to removal. Click on the thread link for more info on treatments:
