I've been lurking here for the last several months and reading up on what's been going on with all of you. Hubby and I have also been TTC but with no success primarily due to fibroids which have been recently removed. Doc has given us the all clear and now it's time to get serious. We're TTC #1!!! YAY! I'm very excited and hopeful and also realistic! I'm currently taking Dexamethasone 0.5mg. Anyone else ever start off on this? I'm not a good candidate for Clomid. Doc seems to think if we don't get a BFP in about 3-4 months then our next step in injectibles and IUI. Not so sure how I feel about this. Any how, just want to know if anyone has ever gone the Dexamethasone route and what their successes (or not) might have been. Also, curious of any side effects.

Thanks for letting me join in and live vicariously through all of you. I hope to get my fertility chart up and running online soon to share with you all. In the meantime, lots of to all!

Hi and welcome to the board! CONGRATS on your fibroid removal. I bet you see a BFP in the next 6 months or so. I wish you the best of luck!!!

I've never heard of Dexamethasone so I don't have any advice. Maybe others will be able to answer your questions.

I had many fibroids- several removals and now had 2 beautiful boys. It CAN happen- just have faith. Keep us updated!!
