Default Bfp!!!

Hi All,
Just wanted to share the GREAT news! I got a BFP today - woohoo! 1st cycle trying after fibroid surgery too!! We did our best to TTC a girl, using the Shettles method, so I thnk we did all we could to maximize our chances of having a girl! But in any case, I am sooo psyched I am pregnant! Was begining to wonder, b/c I really felt I was - I missed my period on Friday (and I NEVER go past 10 days w/out at least some spotting) but the stupid tests (First Response) kept coming out negative. So I went out today & bought a different brand (Clearblue Easy) & got my BFP clear as day!

PS - Guess my luteal phase was ok after all..

Congratulations!!!! That is so exciting, for me too. I am having surgery to remove a degenerating fibroid on April 13. My RE suspects it to be the cause of my last 2 miscarriages. So, Ia m REALLY looking ofrward to May! Tahnks for sharing your good news!

Hi all,
Its been a while since I've been on this board. Been pretty wrappd up in the pregnancy board & then dealing w/ a newborn - YES!! just wanted to let everyone know that there's one more success story after fibroids & myomectomies!!

I posted this almost a year ago & wanted to let everyone know, that the pregnancy did stick & went very smoothly, and we now have a perfect, healthy 3-month old girl named Phoebe Rose!!! So for anyone out there stressing about your fibroids, hopefully this will give you hope & encouragement!
