With all the violence in hockey now, will you allow your children to play hockey? I am still on the fence with this. If the rules don't change in minor hockey I may not be allowing Quinn or Mark to play. I think it's getting to violent.

We're going to allow both of them to play hockey. We'll see how it goes from there.

I will definately let Thaddeus play hockey, I will actually encourage him to play but I won't make him play if he doesn't want to. No matter what sport you allow your children to play, there are always chances of them getting hurt. Sports have come a long way and definately needs to have changes to keep it safe for the players.

Me and the ex are on different sides here., I think backyard hockey is great, but don't know how I feel about organized, he wants them all in hockey. Mind you he also wants them all in motorcross, and all the other sports he played. But he has injuries from those sports that still affect him, so I doubt I am going to push organized sports too much. If they really want to do it, I won't stop them, but I really hope that the game gets less violent by then.

I would definitely be all for it when I have kids but my fiance isn't big on hockey and would rather have any future children play basketball. We'll see. I have no problem with it though.
