Default Todd Bertuzzi

What are your feelings on trying to get him back in with the Canucks? Should he be allowed back in the NHL?

I voted 'other'. I think it depends on when/if Steve Moore is able to return to the game. I certainly don't want to see a situation where Bertuzzi is back on the ice, while Moore stays off.

So you are the only one who has responded, I am jumping on you Don't you think Steve Moore should have gotten more () for attaching Naslund though?

Ahhh, yes, that's a good point! However, being that they were two separate incidents, they should be treated as such. I remember thinking that if Moore had gotten more of a 'sentence' for the Naslund incident, he might have totally avoided the Bertuzzi 'crunch'.

With the new season soon upon us, I think it is imperative that the 'powers that be' demonstrate that violent attacks will not be tolerated. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good hockey fight as much as the next girl (or guy), but only when it's fair fighting, and not a cheap shot where the victim didn't even see what was coming.

By the way, does anyone know if Steve Moore will be starting up in the preseason?

On a personal note, I saw that the Senators season opener will be in Toronto! Bring it on, baby! I'm sure you all understand that there is no love lost between the Sens and the Leafs!

Ahhh, counting down the days 'till Hockey Night in Canada!!!!

Cheers,

I put other because it's been so long since the Bertuzzi thing that I can't remember exactly what happened. But I will say this. If a player intentionally hurts another player in a way that is illegal in the game that the player causing harm should be perminately suspended from the sport.
