I'm so excited! I just bought the MLB package (its a PPV type set up) so we will get over 80% of the games. we get every team, its really cool. But we only want it for THE YANKEES!

Cant wait to see the yanks in august when they come to Cali. Tix are sold out but we have other means to get them.

even my 3 yr old is running around chanting "lets go yankees"

For myself, I'm originally from Minnesota so I always like the Twins to do well, however, I'm more of a player-watcher than a team fan...

So I watch Seattle for Ichiro Suzuki, Boston Red Sox for Jacoby Ellsbury, and will be watching the Yankees in the hopes that someone runs into and spikes Shelley Duncan.

Well, no, I don't really hope that, but still....

I also get MLB.TV on my computer, so I can watch games while I work.

I am so ready for baseball. It is my favorite sport. My favorite teams are The Cardinals, The Blue Jays and The Mets. I have seen the Card and Jays play live. Can't remember who they played against (LOL) but I know whose stadium I was in! I love baseball on TV to. I have to admit I love to root against the Yankees, even though I am a New Yorker (upstate New York). I prefer to root for the Mets. The Yankees are so over paid and spoiled. Everyone thinks they are so fantastic. I just think other teams do just as good and don't have all those over paid players. All though the Yankee's do have so great players.

I know alot of ppl just dont like the yankees. Heck Im a fan and i agree they are way overpaid. They have the largest payroll in baseball and unfortuantely it gives them the biggest egos in baseball too. I am finally starting to see the down to earth side of some of them. Jeter has done some great things with the Turn 2 Foundation. ARod, man I used to think he thought he was god or something they way he acted. but then Karma (imo at least) hit him and he had several crappy seasons. Now hes back on track, hes doing great things as well. Im gonna miss Torre but I think Girardi is going to bring it all this year.

This is definitely my favorite time of year. With baseball & basketball playoffs we are in sports heaven at my house. Thank goodness for my DVR otherwise I'd never watch any of my other shows...since I gotta watch the games live.
