I hate the off season...particularly this one...no more Johnny, no more Theo, no more Mirabelli, possibly no more Manny...anybody know any good centerfielders, shortstops, or pitchers looking for a team?

Unfortunately over the past week or so, its become pretty apparent that that isn't the case...He could have contacted the Sox and told them about the Yankees offer and they probably would have made the same or a similar offer...Its become clear (to everyone in Boston) that he and his wife wanted to be in New York because they want to be in the media's lime light...apparently his wife feels she could have a career in show business...he pretty much came right out and said it at the press conference last week (not on purpose, but he's pretty dumb) thats worse than going there for money, I think

I hope he bombs

Really? Wow, I hadn't heard that! Very interesting. I felt the same way you did when Edgar Renteria went over to Boston to, in his words, "play for a winner" ha ha ha. So you can imagine my glee when he sucked it up big time and they dropped him like a bad habit.
