Hey there! Sorry it's been so long, I've had a hard time with the begining of the school year at a new school. Things are just crazy. Other than that, home is good. Dh has been wonderful with all the stress is coming home he has been very understanding.

How is everything going for you guys? Stacey and Leah, how far along are you? I've lost track with all the get up and go in my life! How are you feeling? Are those beautiful little babies doing well and keeping you moving?

Jen, how is Talon? His picture is so beautiful! He must be keeping you very busy! Did you neighbors with the big dogs leave yet?

I hope all of you are well. Let me know what's going on for you! I miss you all too!!

Michelle, Glad to see an update from you! I figured you were really busy with the new principal and all of the beginning of the year stuff. Glad to hear that your DH is being very supportive. I hope everything calms down soon!

Leah, Hope you pop in to update soon. Miss you!

Jen, I am so glad that Talon has a good dr for his surgery. So you have a few more months to go until then. Besides not breastfeeding, does he have to have a special bottle or anything to help him eat? What about solids? I have no idea when they start eating the rice and baby foods, but can he start those on time? How are things with your DH? I hope you got it all sorted out and are happy!

This little girl seems to be doing great so far. I have my Gestational Diabetes one hour test next week. I will actually be surprised if I pass because I have really been craving sweets lately and I have a very strong family history of diabetes and was on Metformin for the beginning of my pregnancy. If I remember correctly, Jen, didn't you have to do the 3 hour GTT test? I just really hope to not have to do that since I'm so not a fan of blood draws and it sounds beyond boring too. Hope everyone is doing well!

Michelle, So good to hear from you!! Now where is Leah? Talon's surgery is scheduled for december 27th! He is cleft is of his soft palate, it basically looks like his throat hole extends up higher than normal! He doesn't have the cleft of the roof of his mouth or lip. What is going on with you?

dun, dun, dun daaaa.....it's me!! Despite rumors of my insanity, oh wait, maybe they weren't just rumors.....I'm soooo sorry I 've been away for so long. I know, I suck! I've been thinking about you girls soo much.
I need updates!!!!!!!!

Jen-love Talon's halloween pics, he's such a cutie. When is surgery? How big is he now? What tricks is he up to??

Michelle-What's happening?? I have to pop over to IUI, I think you update there. I hope you've gotten a big old pile of dumped on you & something great has happened.

Stacy--How ya feeling? like a house yet? I know I am. Did you pick a name? Can I steal it....we have NONE!! I'm sooo ready for this bean to get here already!

As for me, I'm 34 weeks tomorrow & feeling everyday of it. I"ve been on amended rest for a couple weeks now b/c of early contractions. I've already started dialating & effacing, so they're watching me closely. I keep having this feeling like things are falling out, but nothing has yet. (thank goodness) We still haven't picked a name & don't even have any we're really liking. So far she's just Jellybean, which is what Jake named her.
Work is crazy, teenagers may be the end of me. They are so filterless, anything goes, including asking some of the most personal questions & they are forever touching me!! EWWW, I hate their grubby paws on me....they're teenagers, I don't know where those hands have been!!!
I've been completely nesting for about 2 weeks now & am ready, just add baby. We're still living with my parents b/c we sold our house & didn't find one to buy. At this point we just want to get past delivery & then we'll start the house hunt again. I think the hardest part for me has been not being able to set up a "true" nursery for this baby, I guess that's just mommy instinct.
I swear I'll keep you posted more regularly & REALLY hope to hear what's up with all of you

Leah's back! Yay! So good to hear that you're doing alright. Sorry about the early contractions. I hope she stays put until she's healthy enough to make her appearance. We have a name that isn't 100% set because DH wants to have an out in case we find something we like better. Anyway, for now, we are expecting Amelia. I think you should go with Jill or Jillian so that Jake can call her Jillybean, since that's so close to what he already calls her. Keep popping in when you can so we don't worry!

Jen, Love the new pic in your siggie! Talon's smile is so sweet! Anything new with you?

Michelle, How's the new school/principal treating you? How have you been? Hope all is well!

I hit 31 weeks today and we start our childbirth classes tomorrow night. Should be interesting to see how DH does. Oh yeah, I passed my GD test. I was so shocked! Also went camping with DH for our last trip out together before the baby comes. He has a few more trips on his own, but that should be my last outing. The fresh air was good but sleeping on a cot wasn't helpful for me to catch up on my sleep that I've been lacking lately. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well!

Leah!!! Oh my, you are almost there!!!! So good to hear from you!!! I hated people touching me too when I was preggo!!! She'll be here before you know it!!!

Stacy, We did the 1 day Childbirth class and I don't think my DH learned anything he was just bored!!! I can't believe you went camping, I'm sure sleeping on a cot was uncomfortable!!!

Michelle, Where are you?

Talon's well!! He had a growth spurt, I'll find out Wednesday how much he weighs now!! Surgery is December 27th, I'll try to keep busy with Christmas so I don't have to think about it! Nothing new here!

Sorry I've been so absent lately guys. I have been so overwhelmed with school and all of the other responsiblities in my life, I've just been trying to see my dh when I am home. Things have been OK on if front. We are trying glucophage before we move on over to the invetro line. The glucophage makes me so sick and uncomfortable when they up the dose, but it seems to be doing it's job as I don't have 100 follies this time. I went to the re this morning and he is pleased with my response and said the s/e should lesson when I finally get to the proper dose and have lived with it for a week.

Jen, Talon is so adorable. And he's getting so big! I know you are just loving him up like crazy!

Leah and Stacy, I can't believe how far along you are already! How exciting! I wish you all kinds of luck and patience for the upcoming excitement!

Michelle, Hope the glucophage does the trick. It's not fun dealing with side effects as you adjust, but I hope it is all worth it and just what you needed. Wishing you all the best!

Jen, So how much does Talon weigh now? He looks like he's a little guy to me, but I have nothing to compare him to and he also looks healthy. I'm glad his surgery is after Christmas so that you will be busy and have less time to fret hopefully.

Leah, Any progress on the naming front? Last time you checked in you were already dilating and effacing...so have you had your baby yet? I sure hope you remember to post to let us know that she is safely here.

We made huge progress this week on our house. We painted the nursery and guest room in two days, added new baseboards and a chair rail in the nursery. Then today we got new carpet in those two rooms. Yay! We can finally set up the crib and dresser/change table to make sure we like them. Couldn't have happened a minute too soon since my baby shower is tomorrow. Now we can put stuff away afterward instead of having to leave it somewhere else in the house. We still have to take everything out of our other two bedrooms so we can have the new carpet installed in those rooms in a few days. What a pain! But so worth it to have the new carpet for when the baby is here. Hope everyone is doing well!
