Hey there ladies!!! I am a poster on the IUI board...I am currently going threw my third IUI cycle.....I am on cd 17 and I have a ton of follies...however only 1 wants to grow....it measured today at 16mm The next closest one is 11.2....I have to do another injection of Follistem tonight 150iu's.....MY question is I have a 1/2 dose that I did not use because they upped the dose before I could use it.....Would it hurt to add a little of that one to tonights injection......I is not like at this point I am fearing ohss ......Have any of you "upped" your dose just a little???????

What you need is to request (immediately) that you start taking the drug Cetrotide (Antagon) this will allow the little ones to catch up to the big one by stopping you from Oing.

Literally it stops your LH surge.

This is very standard protocol.

That is a good idea...BUT I think I have to many follies to do that... At last count I had 6 on one side and 5-6 on the other...so if they give me that might get canceled due to hyper stimming..... SO not sure if it would work... Thanks for the thought!!!!

Nicloe, I wouldn't up the dose! Just because they are all not big does not mean you can't get OHSS!!!
