I hope everyone had a good weekend. It was fine here. Nothing exciting. We did start putting all the baby stuff together. Kian sure would like to take a ride in the swing. We did manage to convince him to swing Tad instead. He thougt the double stroller was pretty darn cool too. Todd's parents are still here. Todd and his dad are trying to finish up a couple of projects. They are going to stay through tomorrow so MIL can go to the last u/s. BTW my LAST u/s and doc appt is tomorrow!!! Just 11 more days!!!

Karen- I hope you are recovering well and Miss Eva is doing great! Can't wait to hear how everything is going and to see pics!

Hi All!

Busy day, but I wanted to check in and say hello. I had a productive weekend, got my living room clean...I even moved all the furniture and vacuumed under everything and reorganized my pantry...I have a big pantry...but love that I can walk in there and everything is so neat and organized...I know, I am easily amazed!

KC--WOW, 11 more days!! Too bad the in laws are leaving before the sleep deprivation kicks in. Did you say if you have other help coming when the baby gets here? Do you have a name settled? Are you thinking boy or girl?

My mom and dad will be here sometime before the baby comes and stay for the week after. Quite honestly, I'm really looking forward to it just being us for the time in-between. I'm not sure that Todd is though. His parents will be back for the week after my parents, and then Todd's bro and his family. I think that will be about all the company I can handle! We have our list of boy names (first and middle) settled on, but not girl names. We take a list of each and pick a definite one once we see the baby. I can't pick just one before that!

Heather- Sounds like you were very productive this weekend! So when are you coming to organize my house? hehe!

KC-I understand...there are times you just want to be alone! My DH and I had an on going list that we would leave on each other's pillow. Each person had the right to veto a name and we had symbols for the ones we both really liked. If it stayed on the paper for about a week, it went to a side list of ones we definetly liked. We always had no problem with girls names and only came up with one boys name. Now, if we ever have a girl, we will probaly rethink them because now all our girls names have become really popular. Of all the nerve!

Do you think Kian understands that he is about to be a big brother?

Heather- That's a neat way to pick a name. It seems to have worked well!

My LAST u/s and ob appt went well. Baby looks good and is head down. Not that it really matters since it's squished up against the $%^ placenta! It is estimated at 5lb and 12 oz. It's going to be little, but is right on for it's age. Now we just wait until NEXT FRIDAY!

Not caught up on anything, but wanted to let you know we made it home Monday night around 7pm. Eva was admitted to the NICU for jaundice on Friday night. After much testing, we found out there is no organ damage, but she did have ABO Incompatability issues because I have O type blood and she has A. I was not even aware that this could be an issue, so I have learned a lot. Her bili levels are now dropping on their own, so we are at home (but have to see the pedi in the morning). So much to tell, but no time!

Congratulations, Karen! I'm so glad you are both home! I hope everything goes great at the peds tomorrow. Can't wait to hear more.
