many many follicles
they want me to take NO MEDS again and come in again for b/w & u/s
It doesn't look good for me...

Sparkle I hope you get to proceed with this cycle, waiting sucks!! There is such a fine line it seems to getting the meds right.
Deanna I hope we see a BFP from you soon- Good luck!
I am feeling better so hoping that my follies have done whatever it is they were supposed to do to go away....hopefully AF will show in the next few weeks. I was going to still use OPK's so that I knew when/if I surged, but I decided why waste them, they get kind of expensive after a while...

Well ladies, I had another u/s and b/w this morning of course. My poor arms are looking tore-up.
Even with no meds for the last 2 days, my follies are multiplying, what seems to me, by the minute....LOL. I have well over 25 follies combined now. I have a strong feeling we will be converting to IVF. I was told they want to see me for more u/s abd b/w tomorrow and Saturday. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. I travel to Philadelphia everym morning to work, and I live in Delaware. It's about an hour ride each way. So I decided to stay with the RE I went to b4, which is in Philly. Coming in on a Sat, is ridiculous for me. BUt I will have to do what I have to do.
My largest folicle is just 15.7mm. I may be coasting for a few more days. I am running out of excuses for my job, when I leave for an hour to get b/w.

Yeah, I know what you mean... I hate having to make excuses to go to a Dr. appt or b/w. In the past I've always tried to get it around my lunch break so that I could just go without saying anything to my manager, but this cycle I had to go late to work 3 different days b/c of appointments.
If you keep growing follies, it sounds like you'll be a pretty good candidate for IVF... and even have quite a few eggs left over to do FET in the future if you decide to! That would be nice, huh? Then you won't have to mess with the BCPS and Lupron and the long lead time of a typical IVF cycle! Anyways, it sounds like you're getting close to having mature follies. Do you know if they're all close in size? or are there just a few lead follies? Well, Good luck!
Lisa - yeah I know what you mean about OPK's getting expensive... I no longer buy them since I use stims and a trigger, but in the 22 cycles we TTC without IUI I bought my fair share of OPKs. Hope AF shows quickly so that you can get started on the new cycle.

Deanna- Yeah it is good I have many. It def increases my chances. My first IVF cycle I also had 32 follies and 27 mature and 13 fertilized. SO we will probably got that route.
Lisa- wishing AF would come, so you can join the fun of the rollercoaster....(j/k)

Sparkle - do you still have FE left from the previous IVF? I wonder why the RE didn't want to use those instead of having you stim this cycle. Sorry for the questions... I just find that to be strange... the FET would be about 1/3 of the cost of what I spend on the meds alone!

Hi Deanna,
We used all of of the FE the last time. The first tranx we did was with 2 emb=BFN.
They let 6 embies grow to get the best from there and thats what they came up with.
So the next cycle we did a FET and they let the rest thaw and see how they did, and tranx 3 emb=BFP! So they were no more left. I wish we did still have FE. It would've been sooo much easier, you're right.
Well, I am officially IVF now. I have approx 28-30 follicles and will probably have an ER late next week, maybe. Here I go again!
