Hello- I am new to this board, but not to sheknows.
For my next cycle I will be taking femara days 3-7 and follistim starting day 7.
My history of treatment is 5 cycles of femara & ovidrel all BFN's, 1 cycle on Follistim that was canceled due to SERIOUS Ovarian hyper stimulation and hospitalization and 1 cycle of Lupron with lower doses of Follistim which was canceled due to over stimulation (not as bad as the 1st time, but bad enough to cancel).

My questions are: has anyone done this protocol before? What day did you trigger and iui? Did you use progesterone suppositories?

I see almost all posts are in the main thread- but I didn't want to butt into your conversation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. AF is due any day now and I am ready to get back at it. We haven't had a fair shot in 5 months b/c of the overstim problems....

I've never done the combo of Femara/Follistim, but this month i did the Follistim and my dr. had me come in on CD9 to check follies. I had 2 dominant, so she had me continue Follistim for 2 more nights, I went in on cd11 and was told to do the hCG shot, then on CD13 we did an IUI. I'm also on the progesterone suppositories now.

I did Clomid/Follistim . . . actually, the Clomid really slowed me down, and I had to take a lot of Follistim. This last cy I did Follistim only, and it went much faster for me. I think the Femara or Clomid is supposed to hurry things along, but it thinned my lining. Hope you are having better luck than I did!
