Default Re: The Aggies are we 7

Alone at last! All the family has finally cleared out. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad they came and really appreciate the help, but it was time. Dani is doing great. She was up to 6lb and 5 oz last Friday when we went for a weight check. She's not setting any records, but the doc was happy with it. We have 2 follow up appts next week. ONe with the surgeon about her belly and one to get a kidney scan. They are both just to make sure everything is fine.

H- Your trip sounds great! I love F-burg. Your poor friend! I just can't understand how someone can suddenly pick up and leave without discussing problems or changing things.

Jen- I'm glad all of your tests are going so well! Todd went to all of my appts, but I know a lot of men don't. I peed in a cup, checked weight and bp, got measured like Heather said, and got to hear baby's hb. They do tell you what to expect like what tests are coming up and stuff. ALso, it was nice to have him there to think of things that I didn't. It won't be long before you can feel that little one move!!

Kat- I'm so excited that you are going to get to start another round so soon!! I was afraid you were going to have to put it off again. It will be well worth skipping the vacation! What a relief that Baxter is OK! I know that had to be really stressful! Remind me, what was the original problem?

To make a long story really short, we have a new car....again. We were getting ready to buy an extended warranty and new tires for the old one. Todd went to get prices, and the salesman showed him we could put the same money down on a new one and come out with smaller monthly payments. Plus the new one has a few things on it the old one didn't: bench seat in the middle (always wanted), split bench in the back, 6 disc changer, back up sensor, so on and so on. Oh, and it's white. Not my favorite, but OK. Men!

KC-That is so typical...youo go to get new tires and end up with a new car! I hope you love the new motor-digs. I want a back up sensor, I have heard you can get them added on for about $150 now. They did a demo on Good Morning America a while ago where they had Diane Sawyer check all her normal stuff and back up the car. They had it rigged where it would not back up and then when she got out of the car, they had 30 little children standing behind the car that she could not see in her mirrors....scarey!!! We have lots of kids in our neighborhood so I am always leary of backing up when they are out and about!

I can't wait to get to F-burg! I can feel the tightness in my shoulders now....I might need them to work on my shoulders and back the entire hour and a half!!! We are going out for a 5 course dinner that night at a restaurant that overlooks the city.

I am so glad little Dani is doing so well and a good little baby. We need to see new pics! how long is your mat leave?

KC - I've been wondering where you are and a little concerned that something bad had happened. I'm glad that it was just being so busy with family. Also glad that things are looking good with Dani! Congrats on the new car!

H - That sounds like a great trip. DH and I have never been to Fburg. What do you do there?

Jen - The meds got here yesterday and were in great condition. They are hanging out in the fridge next to the other meds. Getting all cozy together! Thanks again for sending those.

Me - Well, showed up yesterday afternoon ! So, I feel a lot better about my PMSing on Tuesday. I go in for b/w and u/s this am so let everything be okay for me to start. I really want to do this during the summer.... I'll update later when I know.

Kat - Yay for AF!! Good luck today and I'm sending you some nice cyst free vibes!! So glad that the meds made it safe and sound! I don't know if Repronex works like Menopur with that crazy Q-Cap thing. It makes it really easy to mix the meds, so let me know if you need instructions. The instructions in the box were so confusing to me, but I could explain it in "laymans" terms if you want me to, lol.

KC - I'm so glad to hear from you! It sounds like everything is going great and that Dani is growing like a little weed! What kind of care did you get?

Heather - It sounds like your trip will be a great little getaway for you and DH!

I'm doing fine. My OB appt went great yesterday - got to hear the HB and that is such a wonderful sound. I've only gained about 2 pounds which I'm very happy with! I really don't want to gain too much since I started out about 20 pounds heavier than I would like to be. I'm going to try to not gain more than 30 pounds if possible. We'll see!

GRRR. B/w is normal, but I have a 16 mm cyst on my right ovary. Doc thinks we should wait. So, I have 2 more months on BCPs before starting (I would be too stressed to do it in 1 month with school starting). BBL for personals.

Oh Kat--I am so sorry! That is just poopy!!!! I just don't know what to say...darn ovaries!

JEnn-Yeah on the HB and good appointments! Repronex you have to mix yourself, its not in a pen form yet...at least not from when I was on it. Those pens sounds great!

TGIF Y'all!

Nothing too big planned for the weekend. DH and I went to see Harry Potter 5 yesterday, I really liked it and it was so fun to have a movie date with my DH in the afternoon. I need to clean house a little this weekend but I don't think I have much of anything else going on.

Hey guys! Where is everyone??? We ended up going to SA this past weekend and I got a new CAR!!! I got a 2007 silver Civic. We had been looking at dealerships in Houston and none of them had the car I wanted and the only 1 that we could find in Texas was in SA. So we went to visit Jason's parents and bought the car on Saturday. I traded in my 1999 silver Civic for my new one. I love it!

Other than that, nothing going on here!
