I am a newbie on this board I used to post on 6 and 12 months and waiting.

HERE IS A BIG VENT


Okay so after spending 3 years trying to get pregnant. The military tells me that I am not going to be able to get an appointment at Wilton Hall till JANUARY 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They gave me my presciptions but no protocol. You gotta be kidding me. My hubby is deployed and will be back soon and I am tired of being pushed back on their waiting list. My doctor wrote me another presciption....for CLOMID. I am tired of this. I want to make up my own protocol and try to use the meds on my own. Maybe I am just thinking out of my behind. But time waits for no one. The military seems to just pass us by because of our rank. Advice PLEASE!!!!!

I'm sorry!! Cn you find your own Doc or do you have to have own appointed by the military!

I have no advice, don't know anything about military protocol...but I just wanted to say how sorry I am. Is it even possible to find your own doc? Surely you don't have to use the military doc do you? I don't know why they would treat you like that, no matter what the rank is.

I just don't understand.....I hope you find some answers soon!

I'm in the Air Force, and we were able to get the go-ahead for IVF here at Wright-Patterson in Ohio, which is one of the very few DoD locations that offer something like this. I shouldn't think that rank would have anything at all to do with it, more like age, or time TTC, or something else. I'm almost 43 and sort of jumped to the top of the list.
