Icon11 New here and have a question

Hello,

I am new to this site and so far find it quite informative and helpful.

I have a question that I am hoping someone may be able to answer. I will try to keep this a short one as it is a bit of a long story..

I have been TTC for 5+ yrs and about 4 yrs ago was diagnosed with Graves' disease. I underwent the radioactive iodine treatment which brought me into hypothyroidism. From there I was put on synthroid and it took quite a long time to find a dose that brought my T3 and T4 in line. I currently alternate between .1 and .088 and my T3 and T4 are high/normal however my TSH remains very high - around 20. I have stumped a few endochrinoligists and my fertility doctor. Has anyone ever heard of this? If so, do you know if it can be treated and how? I continue to go through fertility treatment in the hopes that we can work around this... I keep my fingers crossed that this won't hinder but who knows...

Thanks for any help.

Kim
