lilmamma2 & other thryoid nodules

Hi! I just read your post and you sound like me. I have a 13 month old (and 2 1/2 year old. I have recently been losing LOTS of hair. I went to the doctor who felt my throat/neck and suspected something. She sent me for bloodwork and ultrasound and found I have a "complex nodule" measuring 2.2cm on my left lobe of my thyroid. I have a biopsy scheduled for next week...did you have to have this done?
