So anyone have hypothyroidism? I do,.... We went through a long period of no periods before we found out.

At least I have an excuse for being tired all the time!

Started Clomid, yuck
IUI 12/1, 3/4
Missed IUI #2 due to gall bladder surgery 1/4
u/s scheduled for 4/4- follies too big and too small skipped IUI
June- triggered and on prometrium...bfn
July & August- taking cycle off, I'm broke! Babies cost too much!

I do also. I have been on meds for almost a year now though. Still no bfp though

Hi there! I'm new here and I am hypothyroid too. I was 36 when I was diagnosed and was put on medication.

I got pregnant 3 months later, to our great amazement! I honestly didn't expect it to happen this soon. My daughter is now 3 - see my siggy. I realise I am very lucky.

Now, I am 40 and we will start TTC sometime this year. Wish us luck!

I am new here. I am hypo as well and was diagnised on the same day I found out I was pregnant. I was out on 125 mcg of levo right away and tested every 2-3 months during my pregnancy. Luckily I never needed my medication adjusted during pregnancy. I delivered a healthy baby boy on March 5, 2008. Shortly after having him, I had to have my thyroid retested and they downed my dosage to 100 mcg. I am now awaiting a test to see if I need new medicine or just stay on the same dosage. My dh and I are planning to ttc # 2 starting in August 2009. I am praying that there won't be any issues, but my doctor assures me that as long as my thyroid is being controlled by the medication, my fertility should be very normal. Since having my son in March, AF returned on April 23 and has been very regular (every 30-31 days) since then, so I am taking that as a good sign. There is hope for those who are hypothyroid--my son is living proof.
