Default Questions to ask our dr tomorrow... Help!

Hi everyone,

I have PCOS and am on my 4th cycle, but first clomid cycle - of 100mg. I am currently on CD26 and no O. Had a huge temp drop this morning and cramps like you wouldnt believe! So I think AF is on the way... but I am thankful as my first cycle 59 days, 2nd 58 days, then 3rd was Provera induced and finished at 96 days! Its been horrible!!!

We are going to our dr tomorrow... what types of questions can I ask him. Seeing as the 100mg Clomid didnt work... Ive wrote down some things, like having an HSG, Met and Clomid combo, Femara, higher dose than 100mg... any thing else I should ask for??? Its been 8 mths ttc and in June we will be starting our 9th mth and (hopefully) if AF shows it will be C5... ugh!!!

Thanks for your help...

Also can someone help me find my way around here - how can I create a signature?

I understand how you feel. I have been trying to have a baby for three years. It looks like you pretty much have your questions covered. However, ask about monitoring such as a mid-cycle ultra sound or a day 23 progesterone check. I would also ask about having a fasting bloo sample taken to see if met is something for you. Good luck.

Those are good questions and you should talk with your doctor about it--I'm sure he'll be able to help you.

Creating a signature is easy. You can create tickers at snugglepie.com, tickerfactory.com, and other places. You can upload pictures and blinkies to a free photo hosting web site like photobucket.com. You can find blinkies by googling blinkies and saving them on your computer, uploading them to photobucket, and then copying the code into your sig. PM me if you need more help.

If you have photos in photobucket you just need to go to Quick Links at the top of the board and "Edit Signature" that is where you add things.

Has your DH been tested. If not I would ask for him to be tested ASAP, just in case. My DH just got tested and it wasn't good b/c they are now referring us to a reproduction clinic ( they wouldn't tell me #'s though, his privacy) So just to make sure it is not just the PCOS that is causing the conceiving problems. You sound like you are asking the right questions so far. Hang in there and good luck. Ask your questions and make sure he answers them.
