PROVERA to bring on period QUESTION

ok so as I understand it provera is used to bring on your period.

So you start taking it and after a few days AF starts
or you take it and AF shows up when it is due????

Provera and prometrium induce af. You would take it when it appears that ovulation hasn't taken place and af won't be arriving. For example, if you are on cd 50 then you could take it.

Af should arrive anywhere from 5-10 days after your last pill. Sometimes people are given 10 pills and others are given 7 or a few less. It just depends on your doctor.

yeah I'm almost positive dr will be putting me on provea (unless he has a diff med in mind) he told me weeks ago when I first began getting tests done that after my ultrasound he would put me on a med to kickstart AF.

I am on CD one hundred and five ..........reeeeally don't think its going to show up anytime soon LOL
