PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
I am pretty sure that you aren't supposed to have many more than 100 posts in a thread so I figured I would start a new one since that one was way over 100 posts.
Let's get chatting

Re: PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
i was actually just wondering when we'd get a new chatty thread!!
kricket- i'm with everyone else. plenty of women on the boards i post on have gotten pg. it's more of an encouragement than anything else. it's different somehow because you've been through what we've been through and you're not one of the so-called "fertile myrtles" we've come to resent. do i sound evil? i'm not articulating this well, but i have the feeling everyone understands what i'm talking about. it's just that when one of us posting here gets pg, i for one feel so excited because i feel like i have a tiny bit more hope than i used to. plus, the pg one knows what a blessing it is to be pg and takes nothing for granted. that's so refreshing! so, i'll stop rambling now and just say, "STAY!"
debbie- how are ya? i've been thinking about you a lot. i really hope this re is working out for you and that dh's test goes well. that's coming soon, isn't it? i'm sending tons of babydust to you!
tammy- chin up, friend! we all feel so hopeless sometimes. don't give up yet! keep bd'ing like bunnies and who knows? maybe you'll end up pg!!!! hugs to you.
everyone else- sorry i don't have more time for personals. i'm wishing you all peace and babydust (i'm gonna make a tee-shirt that says "peace, love, and babydust"...i think it will sell)! i'll catch you all next time!
and me, thanks for the cheerleading! dh doesn't know what's coming!! lol, 3rd time will be ours *insert evil laughter here*!

Re: PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
Oh good new post.
Kricket- I haven't been on the board long but I think its good for you to be around to a. keep us motivated and b. give advice. Stick around will ya?
Brynn-Just wanted to say good luck with your third and hopefully final clomid cycle.
Everyone else, hope you are doing well.
Me: Well much to my disappointment, today is cd one for me. So now I wait until I get a pos opk then call to schedule my e tegrity test. They say I'm supposed to refrain from bd'ing around o time for this cycle, it'll be hard and weird. Also, in two weeks dh and I go for the IVF seminar to learn about the process and financing etc. Then I suppose its on to IVF. Scary!!
Hope you are all having a super Tuesday!!

Re: PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
Kricket - thanks for the new board.
Brynn- thanks for your thoughts. dh tests on 1/18. please send lots of happy spermie vibes towards NC on that day. I pray that we have improved results and that his other test was a fluke. I guess we'll know the results within a few days of his test..I hope by the 22 or 23.
Talk to you all later. Another night of bd tonight. I think I have to spice things up a bit.

Re: PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
Kricket- I did my opk yesterday and it was +, again. I guess you are right and it might not be accurate for me. I was testing at 5pm-ish...do you think this would skew the results? I know women with pcos can have high LH but would this mean that this cycle is a bust for me? Last month I didn't keep testing after I got a positive so I don't know what it would have done. I do know that my bb's were so sore so I am pretty certain I o'd. Oh well, I am out of opk's for this month so I guess I will stop obsessing.
Stephanie - I hope that you get the BFP - what a great new years treat. Have you tested? When do you test?
Jennifer - keep us updated on the IVF process. I hope your insurance hopes with the process.
Talk to you soon.

Re: PCOS Winter Chatty Thread
debbie, i don't think this cycle will be a bust for you. i never got a positive opk and still found out i o'd. try a different brand. i use answer. i switched mid-testing week and got the target brand, and i think that's what threw me off. check out www.peeonastick.com , there are a ton of faq's on there. don't give up!
everyone else, hi!
me- last night was awful. my sister got angry at me because my husband decided at the last minute that he wanted to go out to dinner for his b-day. we invited them along, but they couldn't go and she really freaked out on me. she said at one point, and i quote, "what do you know, you don't even have any kids" which had nothing to do with anything, she just wanted to hurt me. mission accomplished. my husband said i'm not to talk to her or see her until she apologizes (which will probably never happen). he really stuck up for me last night. and of course i'm so much more sensitive because of the clomid, so all it took was her cruelty to set off an entire night of tears. i'm crying now, just typing about it. she's always been mean, but ever since her pg and birth of her son, she's been so much better. i guess people really do never change.... i could use some support right now ladies...i'm at an all-time low.
