Hi, girls,

Just catching up on everything I've missed the last couple of weeks. I've been sulking since AF showed up early and dr hasn't added the Femara yet. I did go and buy a fertility monitor, just so I feel like I'm doing something other than waiting.

Jennifer and Vanessa - Welcome, I'm so glad to hear of someone else that has experience with Femara. That's my next step. My dr didn't mention that the Femara was better than the Clomid, but did say that it has a great success rate, I want to say she said 80-90s%! However, it's not as effective if you ovaries are too big. Mine are bigger than she would like, but Femara is the best option for me at this point because it has less hormones than Clomid.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Brynn, hang in there! Talk to everyone soon.

Amy- Thank you for the warm welcome. I am sorry to hear about af. Hopefully the femara will work for you. Why hasn't the doctor given it to you yet? What cycle day are you? I took mine 5-9, so maybe there is still hope.

Yes, thank you! I am sorry that af came. There is always next CD. Try get your head up and stay hopefull. I am curious as well why they haven't started you on Femara? It does have less hormones than Clomid and also does not thin out you cerival lining like Clomid does
which can make implantation difficult, which all of us girls with PCOS knows how hard that can be-we for sure do not any help in area. Anywho- it is good that you are on Met- I am on even though I am not Insulin Resistance, my RE said it helps lower your T levels which can adverse and rise your P levels which in return helps with O'ing!! Good luck Lots of baby dust to you!!

Hello,
I can't help but wonder where everyone has been. Could be that the nice weather has kept you busy? Whatever it is I hope that you are all well and can't wait to hear from each and everyone of you!!

Kricket~ I am wondering if you were able to scan the diabetic diet. I am very eager to see it, if you are not able is it on the net somewhere? Please let me know any info you have on this. Thx

As for me well my hcg as of Monday was finally below 5 at 4.5 so that is good that it is down from last week. I am emotionally better having a bit of side effects from the met. Wondering if any of you have experienced increased urination, irritable mood, thirst, and tired (comotose) after meals? I didn't have these problems at 1000mg but seem to since I was up'd to 1500mg. Other than that I am just trying to prepare my body for IVF #1.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers!

As for me I'm hoping the clomid works!!! Without any side effects it feels like nothings happening! I'll go in for my Follie u/s on Apr. 5. So till then I'm ****CROSSING FINGERS AND PRAYING**** I have some mature follies.

Nichole I tried to scan it but it wasn't reable. I asked my doctor to email it to me and I am just waiting. I had an appointment Tuesday so hopefully I will get it soon. I have tried to find it online but can't find the one she gave me. If I don't get it from her I will try to just type it on here.
