Default OPK question

Hi I am going to be using OPK's to try to determine if and when I ovulate. I am going to try IUI this cycle. I have done this is the past when TTC. But I can not remember what day to start testing on. I have irregular cycles. I am taking clomid and on day 9. I will take my last clomid pill tonight. I was thinking I may have started on day 11 before, but I do not remember. Thanks for the help.

Brandie,

I'm not going to be much help here as I never had any luck with OPK's, but women with normal cycles should start testing at about CD 9 or 11 (I think) and since you are taking clomid you should probably start within a few days of taking your last pill. They say you should ovulate within 5 to 9 days after your last pill, so you may need to stock up on tests.

Good Luck

Ok I think it is day 11. Today is day 9 and I took my last pill today.SO I should ovulate between CD14 and CD19. I am going to try to remember to take my temp before I get up in the morning. I forgot today.LOL I have had success with OPKs and IUI. But I had a miscarriage when I got pregnant with the IUI. Then I got pg the month afterwards, something about miscarriages makes me more fertile. But I am praying I do not have to got through another one this time. Thanks for all your help.

OK my DR wrote on my chart that I have to take Clomid from CD5-CD9. Then he said to watch for O on CD12-15. I hope that can help! He underlined every thing on my chart.
