I'm 28 years old (in August). My DH and I have been TTC off and on for more than 4 years. I was actually diagnosed with PCOS around 3 years ago, went through 7 Clomid cycles with no response at all. My insurance didn't cover any type of injections and we were emotionally exhausted. We all but gave up May of 2005. Without Provera I do not have a cycle. I haven't had a normal cycle since I was 12 or 13. Wouldn't you know, my little sister gets pregnant and has a baby girl July of 2005 and I find acceptance with things, 4 months ago, I started a regular cycle on my own. I've now had 4 regular cycles and am expecting my 5th one next week. I can't help but get my head in the clouds for this! I know you know how I feel...I've decided to use the BBT charts and hope for the best! Wish me luck girls!

This PCOS board has slowed down a little these days but I wanted to say and wish you the best of luck. You might also look at the TTC 20 Something boards, I think it is pretty active or the clomid board if you plan on using it again.

I'm not usually over here. I'm usually on the IUI board. But my RE told me they think I have PCOS. I never had my own af. I was 15 or 16 and my doctor gave me pills to make me start. The only time I get af is on bc pills. I'm going to be 29 next month.

So you had af a few times without help when you were younger? Then it stopped? Now it started again? Were you on a break?

Sorry for all the questions but I just never meet anyone with a similar story.
