I have PCOS and very irregular cycles too. My doctor gave me progesterone to make my period come.

Yes, provera can induce AF. Actually, it is important to make sure you get AF at least every 2-3 months, so definitely call your dr. Are you on any medications for the PCOS? Metformin can help regulate your cy, and if that doesn't work, you could also try medicines like Clomid. GL!

I was in the same boat. Two cycles ago was 60 days, last cyle was 48 days. During that cycle, when days 45 came around, I asked my doc for Provera.

I took the provera, period came, and while AF was visiting...I decided to do a few things different based on some research.

On last day of period, when very light, I started taking two capsules of Vitex daily, 1 capsule of folic acid daily, and drinking 1-2 glasses of raspberry leaf tea daily. I did 10 sit-ups each night, and had one protein shake made by the company spiru-tein every day.

This cocktail did the trick. I O'd on CD 19! My LP is 12 days, which means my full cycle this time around will be 31 days! It's getting MUCH better!

Not that the same thing works for everyone, but you might want to try it. And if you do, make sure to stop the reaspberry tea and vitex on your O day, just in case baby dancing turns into baby.
