Has anyone ever heard

....a progesterone shot. I was given one today in order to bring on a period. The doc said I should get a period well before I leave for my cruise on the 16 of this month. Has anyone ever had this shot before? How long did it take for you to get your period. The doc seems to feel I should get pg really soon since I just had my endometriosis cleared up, my tube unblocked, and my tumor removed. Therefore we are going to try 7.5mg of femara, ovulation kits, and timed intercourse. I think this is going to work so maybe we will not have to shell out the money for shots and IUI and IVF. Please pray for me I hopet his works. With the cruise around the corner, a clean pelvis, I am a teacher and school is over, and I am done with graduate school. I feel hopeful I will get pg.

I have never got the shot but have taken the pills. I think the pills usually take like 3-4 days??? Just want to say good luck and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I haven't had my shot yet but if af doesn't come by June 13th he will give me the shot. I posted the same question on another board and it's takes about 7 days for af to come. It's a whole lot better that taking pills for 7 days and then still waiting. HTH

to show her face well before my cruise. It would be great to be find out I am pg when I return from my cruise.

Good Luck!!! I have never had the shots but have taken the pills...will be taking them soon again. I'm a teacher too....are you trying to time your pg so you will have the baby in the summer? I keep thinking maybe I should wait to take the clomid, but then again....I don't know...Enjoy the cruise..Praying for BFP for you!!!

I use to do that when I first started trying. However, at this point I just want to be pg and if it is not a summer baby oh well. But if I get pg on this cycle I will have a March baby. So that would be real nice.

It takes about 6 days for af to arrive for me once I've had the shot.

Well I had the shot on Tuesday May 31st. Hopfully I will start Monday. Please pray that this is my BFP cycle.
