Well, I have PCOS. Im not too suprised, actually I am happy that I have an answer FINALLY. And hope... she prescribed me provera to get me going and then clomid (50mg). Hopefully this will work. One thing I forgot to ask her in my bliss of finally getting an answer is, right now I am taking the antibiotic Cefzil for a reoccuring sinus infection. I am only two days into a twenty day cycle of taking them. Should I hold off on the provera and clomid until I am finished? I know I am not pregnant, but this is what the package insert says: Teratogenic Effects: Pregnancy Category B
Reproduction studies have been performed in rabbits, mice, and rats using oral doses of cefprozil of 0.8, 8.5, and 18.5 times the maximum daily human dose (1000 mg) based upon mg/m2, and have revealed no harm to the fetus. There are, however, no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Because animal reproduction studies are not always predictive of human response, this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed.

I am going to call the doctor but I was sure one of you knew about this already given your collective experiences. The sperm analysis is to be scheduled soon- so wish me luck- I am going to need it-lol. Thanks again for any imput!

i took clomid and antibiotics together doctor felt it was ok.
