CHICKEN DIVAN

INGREDIENTS:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 tsp of curry powder
half a lemon
1 bag of frozen broccoli
1 lb of shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag of seasoned croutons (or you can make your own!)
2 cups of instant rice

DIRECTIONS:
Boil chicken breasts until tehy are cooked thoroughly. As the chicken is boiling, pour broccoli into a pot and fill with water, just covering the broccoli. Boil intil the broccoli is tender. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, mayo and curry powder. Add a squeeze of the lemon.

When the chicken and broccoli are cooked, drain and grab a 9x13 glass baking pan. Start with pouring the broccoli at the bottom, the cut up the chicken breasts into bite-size pieces and scatter them with the broccoli. Next pour the sauce you have made on top, totally covering the broccoli and chicken. Spread the shredded cheese on top, covering it all and top with a layer of croutons. Bake at 375, uncovered, for 25 or 30 minutes (or until cheese is thoroughly melted). Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve over cooked white rice!

Is this a recipe that we make up? Or can it be from a cookbook and we've tweaked it?

This is a recipe I've tweaked some but not a lot but I just love it

Maryland Crab Pretzel

2-4 soft pretzels depending on how much you want them covered
3 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 pound lump crab meat pulled (use real crab meat and don't leave it in lump form)
1 pound shredded cheddar and jack cheeses (I like spicy so I use pepperjack instead)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cream cheese in oven for several minutes, until softened.

Place cream cheese in a large mixing bowl and add Old Bay, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco and blend until smooth. Fold in crabmeat. Place mixture in a piping bag with a large round tip. Pipe mixture evenly over pretzel(s).

Top pretzel with shredded cheeses. Bake in oven until desired color and crispness

(I don't use a piping bag I just use a knife or a flat cake icing thing)
