Did you all see the super moon last month? I know we were out looking skyward and to be perfectly honest the moon didnt look much different than what it usually is.
Its the moon that dictates the date that Easter falls on. It is something like the first Sunday after the first full moon after the 21st of March - something like that anyway!
What do you do to celebrate Easter? Do you celebrate Easter at all?
My family and the family next door always has a giant Easter egg hunt. We have a fair amount of ground between the two houses so we pool our easter eggs and hide them all over out side for the children to find. We do the 'ready steady go' thing and the kids have a great time hunting eggs.

This month's Get-To-Know-You question is - Do you have anything growing in your garden or yard just now, if so what? All hosts please answer this in the Community Leaders board so that we know you are here.

Strawberry Sparkles
There's no better time than now, during the height of picking season, to celebrate the great taste of fresh strawberries. It takes only a couple of minutes to turn a pint of them into a festive, mouthwatering treat for the whole family.
Ingredients
* 1 pint fresh strawberries
* 1/4 cup colored sugar
* 4 ounces softened cream cheese
* 2 teaspoons confectioners sugar
* 4 teaspoons milk
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Wash the whole berries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Fill a shallow bowl with colored sugar (you can buy this at the grocery store or mix your own by stirring two drops of food coloring into 1/4 cup of sugar).
2. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla extract with a fork until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to achieve the desired consistency.
3. Holding the berries by their stems, your kids can dip them into the cream cheese mixture, roll them in the sugar, and enjoy.
Sock Hop
Until we figure out where missing socks actually go when they vanish from our laundry baskets, here's a way to get some use from the singleton left behind.
Materials
* Spoon or funnel
* Dried lentils
* Child's sock
* Rubber band
* Ribbon
* Scissors
* Felt
* White pom-pom or cotton ball
* Tacky glue
Instructions
1. To make your own bunny beanbag, use a spoon or a funnel to add dried lentils to a child's sock, filling it up just past the heel. Close the sock with a tightly looped rubber band.
2. To create the head and neck, tie a ribbon around the sock just below the heel.
3. Use scissors to cut the sock's cuff into two ears, rounding the edges to give them the right shape.
4. Cut a nose, teeth, and eyes from felt. Attach the facial features and a white pom-pom or cotton ball tail with tacky glue.
