Grilled Bananas

Like s'mores, these bananas derive their gooey goodness from the heat of a grill or campfire. They go nicely with stick-roasted biscuits: simply stretch and coil refrigerated biscuit dough around a bark-free stick and roast over the fire.
Ingredients
Bananas
Brown sugar
Lemon juice
Cinnamon
Butter
Instructions
For each, cut a banana crosswise into 1/2-inch-wide slices and place the slices in the center of an 18-inch-long piece of aluminum foil.
Sprinkle the banana with 2 teaspoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, and a dash of cinnamon.
Dot the banana with 1/2 tablespoon butter cut into pieces.
Bring the long edges of the foil together and fold them together. Crimp the short ends together above the packet to form a handle; make sure all seams are closed tightly. Use a long stick to place the packet on a warm grill or the coals of a campfire.
Let it cook for 15 to 30 minutes.
Remove the packet from the heat, place it on a plate, and carefully open the foil. Let it cool.
Top the banana with vanilla ice cream, if you like.
Mosaic Birdbath
Materials
Glass or ceramic mosaic tiles or pebbles
Terra-cotta flower pot and saucer
Tile adhesive
Small pieces of cardboard
Tile grout
Sponge
Rag
Grout sealer
Instructions
Arrange some mosaic pieces in a section of the flowerpot saucer to come up with a pattern.
When you're satisfied with the design, use a piece of cardboard to spread tile adhesive over a small area of the saucer and arrange the tiles atop the glue. (The adhesive dries in just a few minutes, so you'll need to work in small sections at a time.)
Continue this process until the saucer is covered by the mosaic. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least six hours or overnight.
With another small piece of cardboard, spread grout over the mosaic, making sure to work it in between all of the tiles.
Let the grout set according to the package directions, then wipe the surface of the tiles clean with a damp sponge.
Use a rag to remove any residue. Apply a coat of grout sealer to your design and allow it to dry.
Set the saucer on the overturned pot. If you like, glue the two pieces together using the tile adhesive.
Tips:
For a different look and texture, use pebbles in your birdbath mosaic.
The instructions are the same; just be sure to work carefully while grouting to fill the spaces between the pebbles.

We will be offering one or two new glitter siggy snags every month on the Glitter Board
here. So drop on by each month to see what we have offered to brighten up your signature. *We have several glitter snags from past months that are still available right now. You can sport a "gnome" snag that you can see
here or a beachy snag that you can view
here I will put up another one after the Fourth of July, so be on the lookout for that one.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything here at Graphic Central, we are always available by email, private message, or you can even post here!.
