Hello to
July! And to the
4th of
July! Do my graphics look different this month? Do they inspire you? Well, I must give credit where credit is due. My husband Mark pretty much picked everything out. (My ideas were gentler and more feminine but still
red, white and
blue
) So if you like the whole, flying jets and fighters, then you can thank my husband the next time you see him.
I went on a small vacation to Idaho at the end of the month and I want to thank my hosts who covered for me while I was away. They made it so no one even noticed I was missing.

Thank you so much ladies. You make it a pleasure to work here. You are the reason I look forward to being here everyday and the reason I couldn't wait to get back. Thank you
MommaSarah for covering all the graphic requests board. You do an incredible, superhuman job around here.

Thank you
Tonya for your special help when I need it most.

And thank you
volunteers, you know who you are,

for keeping us moving smoothly along.

You are all the
heart and soul of
Graphic Central.
I also have written
Cooking Smart's newsletter and would love it if you all would take a look over there. Maybe there's something that you might find interesting if it's been a while since you're visited ? They can always use hosts for boards or new recipes. Please have a look at the newsletter HERE.
Speaking of the Fourth of July...I think that's what we'll do for our
Get To
Know You question this month. I was born in the mid-West and lived most of my younger childhood in the East where it was pleasant, but quite often humid, during the fourth of July celebrations. But I can remember having an incredible amount of fun during those days. Now it's different living in the hot Southwest. Now, as an adult, we wait for the sun to set and for about an hour before the fireworks are ready to go, and then we set off to find a good enough parking place to see the fireworks. I don't enjoy them as much as when I was a kid and I wish I could give my kids the wonderful experiences of parades and picnics and just the all-day thing that I experienced but I don't know if that will happen. It's just too darn hot here.
My question to you is..
what is your favorite 4th of July memory as a child? And all hosts please answer this question on the CL board and remember to leave your
Points & Prizes name so you can collect your points. Thank you

Iced Lemonade Tea
Ingredients:
10 cups Tea
3/4 cup Sugar
6 oz frozen Lemonade (pink or regular)
Mixing instructions:
Use a big bowl and mix the sugar and lemonade together. Pour the tea over the top while it is still boiling. That way the sugar and lemonade mix properly. Let it cool before serving.
This recipe is thanks to Melissa (toeandmel) who is July Hostess with the Mostess for Cooking Smart. Congrats Melissa!!!
