What is the one thing that you seem to put into every meal? I'm not talking about meats...I'm talking more about seasonings.

We're a garlic family here. I think garlic makes an appearance in every dinner meal, regardless of what we are having.

OMG, I love garlic. I LOVE IT! I do use Old Bay Seasoning a lot (it's a Maryland thing).

It's not a seasoning, but the fav ingredient in our house is a tin of Carnation Lite Evaporated Milk. Okay, we don't use it everynight....but we do use it heaps. It is a wonderful low-fat (Weight Watchers recommended) base for any sauce, casserole, dressing. A great alternative for cream or even sour cream.
Our fav dishes to use it in:
beef stroganoff or mushroom stroganoff
cheese sauce
chicken and vegie casserole
pasta sauces with healthy tomatoe bases, and the evap milk for a hint of "cream"

of course garlic puts in regular appearances also!

OLD BAY SEASONING is excellent on chicken and seafood and great in cajun dishes as well,garlic/salt I use constiently,and of course pepper...seasonal salt is good on some things...
