Beef Casserole
Beef Casserole
2 lbs. round steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3 Tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. flour
3 oz. can of mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
pepper
In a large saucepan, brown the beef in oil. Add onion and garlic. Cook until
the onions are tender. Add flour, stirring until beef cubes are coated. Add
the mushrooms with juice, and the celery. In a small bowl, combine the
remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour over meat. Toss well. Remove from heat.
Turn mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at
325°F. for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
