Did you like Alton Brown's Makeover Kitchen?
I thought it was funky and retro, just like his style. Did I like it? It was actually just okay for me. I saw the previews for next week's episode with Paula Deen, and I  that kitchen. Maybe Country-style is more my thing, at least for the kitchen.

We missed it too, its on the tivo box though. I am really looking forward to Paula Deen's though since I country kitchens

I saw the Alton Brown kitchen tonight. Apparently, they re-run on Wednesday nights (during the time they would have two Good Eats programs!!!--*grrr*)

Oh, I meant to add that I thought the kitchen was awesome!! I loved the mixer stashing shelf and the corner shelf/drawer/storage location with the pull out basket.
I'm jealous.

Ok we finally watched this episode last night. I really enjoyed it. While I was not crazy about the look of the kitchen, I did like the gadgets and the way he used every inch of space & I did like the dining area. Overall I thought it was a really good show because we got to know Alton a little better. He has got to be a blast in real life, I would love to meet him someday (not with that intent Buta, so don't worry  )
Now I need to catch up and watch the next episode

So we watched it, and I liked the show (of course). I always love his shows and the couple really fit well with him. However, I did not care for the kitchen itself. Just wasn't my style.
