Im such a loser. i try totally to hard. but we and my husband took our youngest out for the day. the bigger kids where with their biological fathers parents today for a visit. and i got snap happy. using some of the things i think were told to me, like no flash, dont center your subject, take random pics...etc.....well i did. and i think i just look like a tourettes syndrome person snapping away. hahahahahahaha here is my link. if there is anything you like let me know. and im open to all critisim, even if you say they suck. im not sensitive. im learning. again this is with my old point and shoot crap ol cam.
Also these are totally raw pics, no crops or alterations, from cam to comp. so if you ladies would like to take some to fix up, dr up, show me effects, or whatever im ok with that too. do as you may. and excuse me torturting keoni with the teeth pic, he never shows them. lol.
thanks ladies.

I find the shooting through the window a bit distracting. I am a huge fan of a driving into the country for unique shots, but I totally recommend getting personal with your subject.
Your son is so darling, I can't wait to see more of him.
Can you remove the date stamp? the "through the window" comment. Venture out of the car and have fun!
Watch that the sunlight isn't too harsh, you have a lot of hot spots and weird shadows.
Some of the rules for good pic taking are really hard when you're using a point&shoot. Like the reason some of your pics look so blurry...is because, when you turn your flash off your camera automatically slows the shutter speed waaaaaaaaay down to let in more light...this causes camera shake or motion blur.
Maybe just pick one rule to start out with and choose a sunny place to take pics so you won't have to worry about low light. Starting out with composition is a good place, because it helps you start trying to compose your pics before you snap them. Any p&s will do!

Wow, that was a lot of pictures. I agree with advice given previously but looks like you're doing a great job with practicing and taking what you've learned and applying it. I liked some of the landscapes and the flowers were pretty too. It's hard to cc so many. Maybe next time post some here for more specific cc or editing plays.
Good luck with your new camera!
