Here are my attempts with Laura's actions she so generously shared

I chose one picture from Jack's "Smash the Cake" and played with different actions, textures and combos. I'm just starting out with PS3, so please let me know if it looks like something is wrong...I literally just started the other day and would love to know more. I think I'm addicted!! I think I like number 4 the best but it's hard to decide

Also, can someone tell me what flattening does? I think I forgot to do that to these...And why should you start out with a flat image?
