Maybe this is inappropriate here, but I thought you gals might "get it" more than anyone else I can complain to.

Anyhoo...my MIL never ceases to annoy me and so just now I got off the phone with her because she wants me to tell her what lenses to buy with the D90 she is ordering. She TOTALLY thinks that once she buys the camera she will be all set to shoot weddings and portraits for people. SERIOUSLY!

She already told some friend she would do her sons wedding in September. She asked me to do it a few months ago and I said no way...I am no where near ready for that nor do I have the equipment. But truth be told, I'd be a heck of a lot better than her...ARG! She's the type that cuts off heads and just has no concept of composing a picture, let alone exposure. She is a simple (and stubborn) minded person and I can't even imagine anyone trying to teach her. I suggested some classes and she totally brushed me off and said she learns best "hands on". Well DUH....what do you think they have you do in a class?

I could go on and on but I need to go take a deep breath and find a happy place before she calls me back....she got another call and let me go.
