How did I do on the pic in my siggy..
Zoe's costume arrived today and I took some quick(my camera battery died in the middle) snaps of her with my seamless and light coming in from the window. LOL
I'm going to try again this weekend outside I think and may even take her for some outdoor pics at the park with it.
I had some dark shadows on the bottom and the lighting was not great but I brightened it up with layers Curves and levels. But did I go too bright??

So cute! Is that JoJo's circus? Sorry if it's not. Reminded me of this cartoon my kids used to like, JoJo's circus. I think her face got too bright...maybe erase back in her face from before you brightened?

To me, I'd say maybe a bit less bright in the highlights. I would take the SOOC shot and adjust using levels so that you could raise the mids and the shadows could be darkened but not overdo the highlights so you don't get blowouts.

I'll try that Laura. Thanks. I'm not that great with Paintshop so I play until I get close to what I like. LOL

This is the SOOC:
I will try again tonight and see if I can brighten it without blowing out the face and hat. LOL

Re: How did I do on the pic in my siggy..
I had a play too, hope that is OK, I was bored and didn't have any new pics to play with today
duped the layer and clicked with white dropper under layers in the shadows under her leg. That gave me a bright white background but a washed out girl. Upped saturation a bit and played with levels after erasing her back in and flattening layers. Couldn't quite get rid of a color cast on her face but did a small amount of color adjusting and ran portraiture. dodged and burned eyes. Burned pumpkin's features back to black Not perfect but just another idea of how to play with it

The day you deliver, outside will be windy. Your baby will arrive in the morning. After a labor lasting approximately 8 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 10 pounds, 13 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and be completely bald.
