Family of 4!!!!!
Here are 2 of the shots...what do you think? I would have loved to lower my AP setting here but it was as low as it goes with the kit lens.
ALL CC welcome...
THANKS!

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
I wanted to add:
In the 2nd pic I focused on the mom's eyes...do you think that was the right choice? I figured she'd probably be the one looking at it the most & she's in the middle...

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
Cute! I like the posing idea of the first one. Do you have any others that are similar to that? That sucks you couldn't do a lower ap.
You made the right choice focusing on the mom's eyes in #2! That's what I always do too! LOL Especially with her being center, but also because if she doesn't look good so won't pick it, lol.
Any more to share from the session?

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
Love both of these! The first is so creative! Did you set it up that the kids were looking away, or was that in the moment? They should be really pleased with these!

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
Thanks girls! I was starting to wonder because no one was commenting...
In the first shot, I told the parents what I wanted and then just worried about the kids...they were funny, cause they thought that they were supposed to do what their parents were, so they are hugging and kissing and stuff...LOL, then I said "oh, look what your mom and dad are doing" and they looked back! I also have one of them looking at me, but I prefer this one-even with the little blown arm..boo on that...only so much shade out there right now! (This was at noonish)...
Anyway...I do have a couple more from the session (just the kids alone & singles of the kids and parents)...I wasn't OVERLY pleased with them, but they are ok...
THanks so much, you just boosted my day...

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
I really like the comp of these too! Love the interaction and the way the kids are looking back at the parents.
The pose and focus on #2 is good too.

Re: Family of 4!!!!!
I really like those two and what a great location with that old barn in the background.
My monitor is off as usual so I can't tell - is the 2nd pic a bit underexposed.... I am sure it is my monitor, so it probably is not. Like the composition in both.

Great comps! Wait until you get your 50mm, you will have crazy creativity with that first pose!
