Default Honest Question...

Do you think that there would be people willing to buy digital printouts of their scrapbooking layouts around? I am looking at trying to get a nice printer and was wondering what you gals thought. I know there are places out there but I am not trying to make a fortune or a living doing this just a little extra cash. KWIM? Any insight?

It depends... I would only buy prints that are 12x12. Right now when I need to order that size print out I use an online lab. Normally I just use 8.5x11 or 8x8 albums so I just print them on my own printer.

see that's what I was looking at doing because I know you can get smaller prints cheap and do it yourself. That's one of the reasons that I am eyeing printers that do 13 x 17 prints. It's all in the brainstorming phase but I just would love to do something like this.

I think it would depend on how much you could sell them for.
I personally do not do 12X12 digi pages because they are so much $$ to print.
I do 8X8 or 8X10.
Good luck to ya!!!!!

You would have to showcase your quality too. Quality is very important. IMO I think it would be a money pit. What if the quality of the prints aren't as good as I can get at an online lab? You'd have to refund everyone who ordered and would have to eat the ink, paper, and time costs. Really need to weigh the feasibility.

That site Steph posted is good. I don't go there (don't have the link here) but the prices are the same. $4 for single sided 12x12 + shipping.

If you could do high quality and be competative with price, then sure! But ink and nice photo paper can be expensive.
