that vid is posted on here sumwhere... I would have to bump it up.... I agree.Watching that vid totally opened my eyes as to how almost unlikely it actually is to get pregnant each month. There are SO many things going on inside us, it is absolutely amazing!

Re: What a chatty bunch we are!
Christina ~ I certainly understand you needing to know what's going on sooner than later. I hope you get answers soon! *hugs*
Michelle ~ Hope you don't have to go to court. I don't blame you for not wanting to get involved.
Hello to everyone else!
I called my RE yesterday and went in for a progesterone test. Hopefully i'll hear something soon. He wants me to call on cycle day 1 to make and appt. to come in for a sonogram and to discuss how to proceed. I'll definitely feel better being more proactive about this. I told the nurse that i'm fine with not being pregnant yet but I don't like that I can't make sense of my cycles.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Re: What a chatty bunch we are!
hello
hey dawn Im kinda in the same boat, I do have an appt for may, but that 1 is to put me on clomid IF im not or havent gotten pregnant by then. I dont have to take it if I dont want to, but I think another prog test would be good for me as well and I didnt even think about it till I read your post. Thanks So my temp did some willie this morning, I dont know whats up with that. DH and I been pretty good but im still so early in my cycle....My DR told me last appt to not even temp just use opk's. I obviously didnt listen lol, I kinda like temping. Its just that when you think you know tomorrow tells a better story
Thanks on your hopes that I dont have to goto court. this is really stressing me out.
Well Im going to google my cycle day 9 temp rise to see if I can come up with something...
BBL,
Michelle

Re: What a chatty bunch we are!
Dawn, your Feb cycle looked pretty good, a definite ovulation, but short luteal phase, this cycle looks like you havent ovulated. Hopefully you can get some answers. Day3 fsh/estradiol is a good blood test too.

Re: What a chatty bunch we are!
Christina- I'll be praying they find the cause and treat it easily.
Dawn- I'll be praying for you too that you get some info.
Michelle- I'll include you in that prayer too!! I don't know the detail (and won't ask) but whatever it is- I can see why you wouldn't want to go to court. On another note Michelle- I couldn't help but notice the ibnalgas screen name...being spanish myself (maiden last name was Trujillo) I can't help but to notice the "nalgas" part but can't figure out the ib...maybe it has nothing to do with nalgas at all?
Nothing new here...just wishing tests would be positive at 6 dpo. Shilo- I hear you were once the POAS queen 'round here...on what day did you get your BFP?

Re: What a chatty bunch we are!
Michelle, sorry, I hit enter before finishing my post.... I hope you dont ahve to go to court! Meh... that would really bite. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Your doc doesnt want you to temp? Thats silly! Temping is the best way to monitor your cycle... erratic post o temps can show troubles with progesterone, luteal phase defect etc...AND opks dont show that you have ovulated, they only show that your body is gearing up to o. Some women who have annovulatory cycles will have one or more periods of time during the cycle in which they get positive opks, but o doesnt actually happen.
If you only use opks then getting a 7-9dpo progesterone blood test can determine if you are ovulating sufficiently. Under developed eggs leave behind small corpus luteum cysts which dont produce enough progesterone after o. This can be a reason to try clomid, as is increases your follie development and can therefore increase you progesterone output. Or sumtimes, all sumone needs is sum progesterone (if the follies are maturing properly, usually discovered through sonogram, u/s.. then sometimes just a progesterone supplement is all that is necessary. and sumtimes a combination of the two) I dont agree with being given meds unless enough investigation is done ahead of time to find out WHAT it is they are medicating.
Anyho ladies, Hugs to you all.. Taking a trip out of town to go meet the home inspector at our place we are buying. Hoping all goes well, keep your fingers crossed for us PLEASE.
Ill be back later on today.
