Well, hes only 16lbs. He was 15lbs 5oz two months ago.. so hes not gaining really. He was 14lbs at 2 months!
But I read from Dr.Newman's website that breastfed babies are often heavier in the first two months and then weigh less than the formula fed babies afterwards. Apparently, the WHO (World HEalth ORganization) is doing a new study, with 7 countries, of breast-fed only babies to give a better idea of the *average* weight gain. Right now, the standards are based on a population of 30%breastfed babies, app. 70% bottlefed, so it can make mums worry unnecessarily when they arent gaining as much.
I am repeating what i read to further make myself feel better... lol.
We are getting sent to a pediatrician to check on him to make sure there are no problems.
