I am home. Dante is two days old and BOY can he scream!!! OMG i forgot how crazy these first days can be, lol....
I havent slept since thursday night, and that was only from 3-5am.... so I was going a bit mental from lack of sleep. Dr sent me home today. At the hospital, while Dante is screaming, I cant sleep, even tho Pab roomed in with me to hold and comfort the screaming little guy..... (its a small room, i cant really ignore the screaming, lol)
So, im home, milk came in today, so im hoping the added milk will help fill his belly.

The c-section was fantastic, they use this thing called... epi-morph? its morphine put in with the spinal that keeps you virtually pain free for 24 hours after the section even tho you get the feeling in the legs back etc.... so by the time i was up and walking around, even after the epi morph ran out yesterday, i still felt pretty good. I am sore, and the nurses and doctor are shocked that my uterus is still WAY above the limit over navel it should be. He was in such a high up position that it is taking my uterus forever to shrink down and it was like um.. 8weeks over the limit in fundal height at the end of pregnancy... so yes, the u/s was off, he wasnt 9 and a half pounds.. but they said that my placenta was almost the same in weight as he was... they said it was HUGE. said it provided a perfect growing environment for him.
what was the biggest shock was that they had me on the table (after MANY failed spinal attempts, OWCH!!! OMG the anesthesiologist was either a moron or im really difficult.) and about 10 minutes had passed from the time they started putting up the screen, and suddenly they said, "k dad, stand up and take a look" and there was this cry, and it was Dante!!!! ten minutes from the time they laid me down on the table!!! Fast!!!!
anyhow, hugs to you all, go take a look at the pics.
