I am Di and I have just delivered TR baby #2 .

I had my TR in Aug 2003, delivered my first TR baby in June 2004 (yes, I conceived two weeks after TR), began again in Feb 2006, got another in June 2006 (sadly m/c at 5 1/2 wks), got another in Sept 2006 (this one ended in a D&C due to a Blighted Ovum).

Finally after another 9 cy's and a HSG (left tube blocked/right open), I got another and gave birth to TR baby #2 on April 2, 2008 .

So u can see hon, there is definately hope.

You and I have very similar stories. I had my tubes tied after DS#2. I'd had difficulty getting pregnant and difficulty staying pregnant so we figured two children was the perfect family size for us. Unfortunately DS#2 was diagnosed with a heart defect the day after he was born and he died two days later. After a year of grieving and soul searching, we decided to go through with the reversal. After my surgery, I was told tube lengths were good and both were open. My RE told us to try for three months and if I wasn't pregnant he would do an HSG and then start Clomid. We tried with no luck for three months and then scheduled the HSG. On the initial images both tubes were blocked. However, right as the doctor got up to leave the room, I felt a pop. They shot another image and my right tube had opened up. I had my reversal in October of '06 and my HSG in Jan '07. Since then I have been able to get pregnant 5 times. Unfortunately I am once again having the problem staying pregnant. Right now I am on a doctor imposed break but have not give up hope on having a TR baby. You have found a wonderful group of support of women. I hope you get your BFP really soon!

I conceived after 5 cys, but M/C'd at 10 weeks with a down syndrome baby boy. It took another full yr before I conceived again. I had even tried Clomid for 5 cys due to my age without success, but then got PG on a rest cy just prior to attempting intrauterine insemination with injectible meds. I've been TTC # 2 post reversal no for 52 cys.

Yikes they had put me on clomid before they did my hsg and found that my tubes were blocked and i hated it. I was doubled over in pain and don't want to like of trying it again. There gonna monitor me every month now to see what side i o on. After a couple of months of doing that if nothing they want to put me on med's and start iui's but i'm not sure i really don't know anything about iui's so i'm a little leary. Any advice would be a big help. I just don't know what to do or think. I'm new to the ttc, it always just happened everytime on its own before....lol

This past pregnancy I got pregnant with twins (potentially triplets in the beginning.) The u/s showed that I had ovulated off of both sides. My OB says that even with a blocked tube, the open tube can sometimes "catch" the egg from the other side. That is what happened in my case. I've also had a chemical pregnancy that ended early and then gotten pregnant the very next month from the same side. I thought having only one tube would greatly decrease my chances but so far that hasn't been the case for me. Now if I could just make it to the finish line.....

I'll go check i might have put in the date wrong in had it done in Nov of 07. Its been 6 cycles now and nothing yet. Just got A/F today so pretty down right now, but try again next month. They are putting my on clomid this cycle so i guess its wait and see. Good luck to you to!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone has hade a TR by Dr. Rosenfeld in Houston? I am going for my TR on May 29th of next week. I have been in pain since I hade mine tied 5 years ago.I hert on the lower right side and I know it really did something not only to my body but its not normal at all. Im sure it will be better, Just wondering if anyone has had the same thing and pain like I have had. I feel like its a big hush hush thing with doctors and there patients! But I would love it if someone could talk to me about it. Thanks for any feedback!

Candice, There are quit a few of us that have had t/r by Dr Rosenfeld.I had mine done in April 06.I have one t/r baby and I am trying for another one.My sister n law Leah had hers done there also she is just statring to try to conceive next month.There is also a girl name Dusty on here she is pregnant with her second one.I wish you much luck,Dr Rosenfeld is great....If you have any questions just ask we are here for you.Cant wait to get to know you.Also are you charting?I think you should start charting your cycles.It is great to get to know your cycles before t/r.Goodluck....

Hello, I had mine on April 24 of this year. He is a great Dr. After I had mine tied I didn't have a period for three years and I hurt all the time. But I finally started having them again and all the Dr.'s could say was they didn't know why go figure. Everything is fine now and I can start trying next month. Good luck next week !!

Did you hert alot after surgery?Did he say if your tubes would close at any point.

LM,I feel like I may have my life back. How long was your surgery?How long did it take to recover? Im so happy I found somene that used him.Im scared to death. I am from Waco texas,and going to Houston is pritty scary! Thanks for any info.
