last post from ibnalgas:
good morning melissa I know what you mean when you say cant even imagine where the lines are sapposed to be. 1 question though....what kind of test are you useing? FRER is sapposed to be up to 5 days sooner...So I always use these ones at the end. and you dont really know what DPO you are. I think a reliable test would be at 12 DPO+. I finally see it....
Hang in there girl, I need to get my *** outta this house before I use all mt HPT's today. I already used 1 yesterday???? what in the world? So im taking my kids to the lake.
for you girl...well everyone

I'll bbl

every once in a while I do...and if it's 99+ during the day, it's usually 98+ the next morning...

I forgot to add in one juicy tidbit when it comes to asking for you ladies help with my chart...right around O time...I got sick. That's why there's that really high temp at CD2 that's not connected...I had been running a fever...so i don't know if my temp on cd1 had to do with illness either.

Oh well. I guess if AF shows she shows, and in the meantime I will test every single morning. Ha! Sad.

Have fun at the lake Michelle!!!

Ive got a quick question. I posted this on another board but didnt get a real answer. Since having the surgery, my privates are really really swollen and now they are bruised as well. Has this happened to anyone else? Thats a real concern for me, my temp is hovering right around that "call the dr" line. They said to call at 99.1 because my normal temp is is the 97's. It been going in between 98.5 and 99.4.

The only otherreal pain i get is everytime i move i feel like the incision is being ripped apart, which i am told is normal. Boy do i feel crappy right now. But it was worth it to hear the results, and he even took some digital pics and explained it to jason, because i was so out of it. Im supposed to ovulate monday or tuesday, I definitely feel I wont be feeling up to it by then. Cant wait to join you guys next month! AF should be due right around the 3rd of June.

Who is next in line? And how is everyones weekend so far? Mine isobviously uneventful, as I am spending it in bed, Jason is taking very good care of me, and so are the kids. I should enjoy it but I wish i could be up doing something with them!!! TTYL

hey mel...my below parts wernt swollen that i know of and I never went above 98.5-6. I was told that if it got to 99.0 I had to go back....also my insision never hurt it remained numb for days after. my only pain was trying to urinate. like my bladder was busting full and to void was uncomfortable.KWIM? maybe you should call the dr and see if you should take some tylenol? did you get any pain meds? I did keep a nice level of 600mg motrin every 6 hrs in me....just know that everyday I think it gets better. but honestly if you dont feel right then go to the hospital. you dont want to risk infection. also did you get it by that 2 inch insision in the pelvic area? or with the other kind? maybe try ice packs?
I hope i helped KUP

Mel-
My below parts were swollen either. As with your temp I would go to the DR. I remember with mine the insision felt like it would rip open and my insides would fall out. And OMG coughing sneezing you name it killed me. Sounds like you have some great bedside nurses. Eat it up while you can. I hope you feel better soon.

I am not sure if I had told you all. But the same week I had miscarried a stone fell out of my ring. And of course Matt did not buy the extended plan. I was heart broken. Well since finding out that I have PCOS has really put me in the dumps. To cheer me up he brought this home on friday

He did good. I cant believe that my wedding is 4 months away. We are going to order all the brides maid dress next Sunday. I hope I am not to late and they can get them in time.

I started taking the metformin today. I am going to chat with the ladies on the PCOS board to learn more.

Dianne I am getting so excited for you. That Granddaughter will be here soon I tried to get you on yahoo. I will look for you tomorrow night.

Everyone else I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!

Sorry that the pictures are so darn big. I need to learn how to make them smaller. Uggh my fingers look so fat. It has been hot here and my hands are swollen. I should go put them in a bowl of ice water them take a picture.

Mel~ I dunno about the Tr facts from a personal perspective, the only thing that I can add is if your temp is high and you don't feel "right" then call the Dr. I think it would be better to make the call than be sorry you didn't later, kwim?

Michelle, did you have fun at the lake?

Melissa, I guess it could be hard to tell O date if your temps had anything to do with illness, did you have a fever during the day also?

Christina~ your rings are gorgeous, congrats again!

Shilo~ I do hope that your blisters are healed up!

Hi Dianne!

I miss you too!!!

It's been a crazy month, trying to wrap things up at work. Just a couple more weeks, and then I think things will be more calm and I'll have more free time.

How is your mum doing? I hope her treatments are going well, and that she is feeling good.

I can't believe your daughter is due in five weeks! Wow, time flies. I was just thinking, if I hadn't miscarried, I would have been due at the end of next month. It still makes me sad to think about the one I lost. There were a lot of times when I didn't think I'd ever get to be a mom. I am overjoyed about this one, and am so looking forward to meeting her. I think I appreciate it even more now.

I'm sorry you're feeling down, sweetie. I can understand how difficult this is for you, and I wish it was all happening faster. I had lunch with a friend on Friday, and she is also TTC, and has been for a while. I hate seeing women who I know would be great moms and who would have the luckiest babies having such a hard time. It's just not fair. But I'm still thinking positive thoughts for you, sweetie, and sending you tons and tons of babydust!!!

Christina, the rings are gorgeous! Your wedding day is almost here. You must be so excited!

Wishing everyone here lots of babydust! I check in on you all the time, and I hope we see some s really soon!

Missy

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had an eventful Saturday night? I was asleep by 8...lol. Michelle, to answer your questions, Dr Jay gave me percocet. I can take a pill every 3 hours as needed. The swelling is going down today in my private area. Still bruised but yesterday it was very hard, and today its softened up and feels not so swollen. My temp is still up and down, but I am not using a normal thermometer, Im using my basal, since it was right next to the bed. There are other circumstances as well with that, I get hot and cold, take the blanket off, put it on, have thecomputer in my lap, then dont, Ive been using a heating pad on my tummy as well, here and there. I think all of that factors in. Its not going past 99.1 so I am going to go with that, and also try the other thermometer.

My "nursing staff" has been fantastic. the kids come in and give me hugs and kisses andbringme water, and Jason is taking careof the rest, he thinks of everything, before I even have to ask for anything, he is here. I am so lucky!

Ok I am tired again, going to take a rest and try to catch up a bit more on Young and the Restless, I am up to Tues of last week. Thanks for your help guys! One thing I can say is that I AM feeling better, every day. The incision looks great, swelling is going down, everything seems to be going well. I still havent O'd yet. Hopefully if I can get 2 more days of rest in, I might be ready! Crazy talk???

Hey Mel Glad to hear you are doing better!!! My first week or so was pretty rough, then it got way better. Every day will be a little easier. REST I think I over did it too soon and it made me really sore.

Im hoping to feel better by Wed, thats my post op, then Thursday we are flying to Indiana. At this point I cant wear anything below my waist, so I am feeling pretty dismal....lol. I called and left a message to the dr about my bleeding. I know some of it is the dye he injected into my tubes to make sure they were open, but theres a lot of it and i know some is blood.

Its been so quiet around here, I hope that means everyone is out havng fun!!!

I spotted for a whole week after. Dr said it was fine as long as the flow didn't increase. Then a week post-op AF came. So total bleeding (TMI) was about 12 days. Sucked.

LOL...i dont worry about TMI on this board anymore. I do say it in real life though incase I gross someone out....

Its mostly purple, from the dye, but its clotted so i know theres blood in there. I was mid cycle at surgery, the dr even knew I was close to O, he told me "i know you are getting close but you better ot have sex"...LOL! I am still at mid peak on the moniter, so I am doing ok. Someone asked me how I felt today and I said I am in excruciating pain, which is 10 times better than I felt yesterday. Ouch right? AF is due on June 3rd.

I talked to the dr about my concerns and he made me feel better, the spotting is normal, he said I should use the braun ear thermometer rather than the basal because its jumping all over the place if I so much as drink a cup of tea. He said if I am still concerned about the swelling down there tomorrow, he will get me in to see him in the morning.

Ok back to naptime now. Jason took the kids to a water park so I can get some time to myself to sleep.

Mel, Im so glad to hear that your surgery was a success
Just give yourself time to rest.
Iw as in immense pain after my tr. worse than my 3 c-sections actually. I dont recall having ANY numbness after surgery, but i sure am numb at the inscision site now! lol
I remember thinking, omg, if i got pregnant right away, wont my inscision hurt like heck? The pain does get better, but i do remember the 'ripping apart' feeling.
Christina, your rings are beautiful you must be getting so excited, you too Dianne, you get to see your lil grandaughter in 5 weeks!

All is well over this way. Blisters have healed. Been busy trying to get a new ob and a new surgeon for my c-section. Hard to do when everything is long distance and of course there are no numbers in my phone book for out there. Luckily i ran into a mum on a message board that works for a surgeon in the new city we are moving to and so I got some help from her... still needed to find an ob though, because i cancelled mine, thinking that the new ob/surgeon would be doing my prenatal care. turns out he doesnt do prenatal, only the c-section!!! so i had to try to find a new ob last friday.

Hugs to you all, gotta take the dog in to get de-flead, clipped and groomed. ill check in later,

Missy, I am glad to hear that all is going well for u sweety, ur little bundle will be here before u know it.

I know what u mean about being almost due, I would have been due June 10, if I did not loose my last pg'y , but it was not meant to be. I am keeping my for a sticky bean the next time around .

My mum is doing well, unfortunately, she does have to have another bone marrow biopsy sometime soon, not sure when, which is dissappointing, but otherwise mum is very good. It is so scary to think 'what could be' with cancer, it is so unpredictable..........I guess we r lucky in the fact that the type of cancer mum has, is not aggressive. My goes out to all out there going thru anything like this, it is so unfair .

As for me, I am hanging in there, I find the depression gets really bad when I know that is going to show . Hopefully I wont have to wait much longer for that . I really did not think it would take me this long to get pg, boy, was I wrong.

Shilo, yes, only about 5 weeks to go and my grand daughter will be here . I cant wait.

Babydust to everyone ...........

Dianne I hate hearing how sad you are. I so wish all the time that I could just get in my car go buy you some flowers and a great cup of coffee and be there for you. You are such a wonderful person. You deserve to be happy and get all your heart desires.

I am sorry to hear that you had a breakout to shampoos. I have a friend here that has the same issues. She gets huge blisters all over. When she is stress it seems to get ever worse. I really feel bad for you. But you sure have a great out look on everything.

Mel hope you are doing better.

Jaq how are you doing?
