My Jewels....12/07 Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: Shilo
Maybe she's out shopping? I know that's the first thing I'd want to do when someone officially assigned me to a team!

Re: Shilo
hi!!!
Sorry!!!
Yes, everything is fine
At 20 weeks, (day of u/s) I was measuring 21 weeks, so I guess that means that little Dante Lucian is growing well.
Yes, a little boy.
Funny, as soon as i got that u/s pic, i sort of thought he was a he... not just because there was sumthing that looked suspiciously like a boy part, but also because he was giving us the finger. lol
Pablo is very happy, although he would have been happy with either. This will probably be our only child together and his dad's family has no one carrying on the Orellana name, so now he has a 'successor' as Jacqueline mentioned in the DIA thread. (thanks for tracking me down )
My friend from northern bc, about 12-18 hour drive away came by last night, he crashed over, so i was visiting alot yesterday. Sorry for making you guys wait.
Dr said ultrasound looked good, no worries, good growth. Next time I go in i sign the c-section forms and get my surgery date!

Re: Shilo
Well, there are some name sites....
and i enter in the meaning i am looking for, and then names come up
I also look at unusual names websites as well as top name websites... internationally.
Youd be surprised actually.. although Amaya Soleil was decided upon quite easily, it took us a bit longer to figure out a boy name.... quite a few days of obsessive websearching, lol...
I guess i MIGHT have to talk d/h into trying for a #2 after this one, LOL.... so we get a chance to use our girl name

Re: Shilo
I have an Uncle named Lucian very strong name...great choices, can't wait
to meet him, I bet your dh is over the moon his first born will be a boy
That is so awesome...Have you ever noticed the Majority of TR BABES ARE boys.I wonder why... I know 3 total who have had post tr girls... Dianne and Dusty, and a lady from my church... other than that I have noticed most are boys, wonder if there is a connection or just plain ole luck

Re: Shilo
Congratulations Shilo! It's interesting to hear that about the high proportion of boys post TR. I have a feeling my little one will be a boy too. Still WAY too early to tell, LOL, but it's just a vibe I have. Once again, congratulations!

Re: Shilo

Thanks Andi!
Maybe it's because we try to time intercourse RIGHT at ovulation... male sperm swims faster but dies quicker, so apparently, if we want a girl, we should time intercourse a few days BEFORE o and not right before or on o-day... ? just a theory.
