WHAT influenced you into getting a TR or DH a VR?

For me, never having had a child and wanting to have DH's. for him, after the birth of his grandson and spending time, just the three of us, I think made him realize that he wanted that for us.

I never wanted DH to have the vasectomy. But we had never really discussed it. His best friends wife got pregnant last year & everything came to a head. We finally started discussing how much we both wanted more kids and the rest is history.

I knew that the time was right. In a loving relationship with my best friend, he had no children of his own.... it was a now or never sort of thing. He had never thought of having kids before, it was never a big deal to him, but he decided he did want to have a child and he wanted it to be with me... and of course, more than anything, i really wanted to have his child as well.

I had my sixth child and let others influence me to have my tubes tied. I probably wouldn't have had it if I didn't have a c/s and they tied them right there, but within a few weeks, I regretted it. After that, I was on a mission to have the tr.
